Welcome to Blogie.

"Why Blogie?" one might ask.

Great question! My name's Logan, and many call me Logie. I wanted my blog name to be something unique to me, not what I'll be writing about, and here we are left with a mashup of the words blog and Logie to create Blogie. Bonus points that it looks like boogie.

That being said, what will this blog be about? My end goal is for this to serve as a platform to jumpstart the discussion of what is going on in social media. It's fast-paced, and it can be difficult for just one person to keep up with it all. In my job, I am responsible for posting much of our social media content, and it can be hard to create content and consume enough content that I know what kinds of things are worth creating. So let's work together. Content consumer, creator, or a mixture of both. Help each other out!

So feel free to think of this not as "my" blog, but our blog. I know, cheesy. But that's what I dream of this being! I know there have been countless times when I have wished I just had someone to tell me what kind of content they want to consume. I've also been on the other end and wished I had different or more interesting content from creators I usually love. It makes sense to mutually benefit one another and create a space for the two worlds to collide.

Let's talk about the latest trends! Do we love them, hate them? Are they sort of middleish? What are we seeing too much of? What do you wish was on your feed more often? The algorithm? What's up with that? Why is everything about cave divers? How well will that question about cave divers age when it seems like something ebbs and flows in popularity in a matter of a few days? Who are you following and unfollowing and why? Creators who are in a rut, get some inspo! What kind of content do you want to create? Test it out, maybe more people will like it than you thought! What kinds of tripods, editing apps, and tools are we using right now? Ask the questions (there really is no such thing as a bad question)!

The posts on this blog should serve as a conversation starter, not the middle and certainly not the end. Use it to jump off of! On a side note, this does not have to be the only source of conversation starters! If there's a topic you want to discuss, start it in the comments! This should be a network of individuals with a common goal, and you have complete creative freedom to network here!

I hope that this is a beneficial place for you to come, share, and explore. I am seeking to provide a fun, light-hearted read on my personal takes and observations for something that's just a good read. So, welcome to Blogie. It's been fun typing this! I can't wait to see what's next.
